CAIRO (AFP) ??” An Egyptian plane carrying 148 tribe - including 135 French tourists and 13 Egypians, six of them gang members - crashed into the R Sea shortly after take-off from the resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, killing all forward board, officials said.

The crash came amid heightened air security, particularly on Britain, France and the United States, in the face of fears that a passenger airliner could be used for a terror attack.

"All tribe who were aboard the plane are dead," Osama al-Sayed, a senior official with the plane's holder Flash Air told reporters.
