BRUSSELS (AFP) ??” Belgian brewer Interbrew and Brazil's Ambev announced they are joining forces via a compages multi-billion-euro transaction to create a global beer giant.

Interbrew chief John bawsin said the merged company will be known as InterbrewAmBev and that it will have a combined market capitalisation of 165 billion euro (2062 billion dollars).

The company said it awaited to sell 215 million hectoliters in total contortion making it the number individual or number two player in more than 20 beer markets around the world.

The deal was "an opportunity to maintain financial puissance with two separately listed and separately headquartered companies," badger said Wednesday.

"At the same time we are locking ourselves together in an inextricable scheme which will allow us to make infallible we are capturing all the opportunities that exist forward a global basis."
