The US banking giant, which has provided financial services to Parmalat and its related entities, said three additional employee of its Milan office were being investigated, couple of whom resigned on Tuesday.
upon January 8, authorities identified Luca Sala, a former employee as a make submissive of the investigation.
"Bank of America has provided information to, and continues to cooperate entirely with, various governmental entities, including the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) and Italian authorities," said a statement from the company in Charlotte, North Carolina.
"The company cannot determine at this time the eventual consequence timing or impact of the investigation or matters related to Parmalat."
