"We want to redo the exact journey made by way of Heyerdahl, but this time with a focus onward nature and the environment," Torgeir Higraff told AFP.

Starting upon April 28, 2005, the band which as last time will consist of five Norwegians, common Swede and a parrot, awaits to cover a distance of 8000 kilometers (nearly 5000 miles) from Peru to Polynesia in 101 days, just like Heyerdahl did forward his legendary voyage in 1947
