England have forfeited five or their last six internationals, coach Clive Woodward has quit and Dallaglio became the seventh World portion winner to retire from the international exhibition on Tuesday.
Dallaglio believes that England's motivation may have been lacking since they became world champions with last year's historic victory athwart Australia.
He said: "England are really motivated now. They will have a novel captain, they will have a just discovered coach and the players will be motivated which, collectively, you would have to say they possibly haven't been since November 22"
England will inevitably have a fresh look for the Autumn internationals against Canada, Australia and strange Zealand with acting coach Andy Robinson in charge for the first time.
