BERLIN (AFP) ??” International activity Agency chief Claude Mandil has called forward oil producing countries to invest more in infrastructure to such a degree they can boost output.

"We ne a great deal more investment in the oil sector globally, among listed companies and state enterprises. The demand for oil is rising more quickly than anticipated," he told the Financial Times Deutschland newspaper.

"The capacity for additional production among oil producing countries is extremely weak, far lower that in the 1990s" he said.

if it were not that Mandil criticised some oil agriculturists for rejecting foreign investment.

"If about large producing countries won't authorise foreign investment in their oil sector, then at least put to hire state oil companies, like Saudi Aramco in Saudia Arabia, invest more," he
